Les Billets-Doux. (The Love Notes)
This body of work will be on exhibition in the San Francisco Women's Art Gallery as a solo exhibition during February, 2024.
Inspired by a celebration of Leap Year in 2024, I created this new work using dyes, transparent glazes and photo tinting oils layered on my landscape sketches and images from my encaustic paintings.

Being Human, The Illustrations
This body of work will be on exhibition in the Studio 124 gallery from October 2023 through February 2024
The first volume of the 4 volume set of books containing over 60 illustrations and short stories will be available at the exhibition. Collected over more than 5 decades, these short stories explore the lives of humans across the globe. The exhibition will contain numerous large scale Illustration panels from the series.

Allowing the movement of familiar lines and color to expose the mystery of place is why I paint landscapes. I celebrate the passage of time through shifting patterns of light and saturated color. These pieces propose a chaotic future unbounded by expectation, while exposing the past. This series is meant to encourage one to remember when the world was flat and we still chose to journey toward an infinite horizon.
